Grand View Garden (Daguanyuan)

Daguanyuan is located in the southwest corner of Beijing’s Second Ring Road. It is a garden built in the style of the classic “Dream of Red Mansions” and is also the location for the TV series of “The Dream of Red Mansions”. Visitors come here to find scenes in the play, learn about the red building culture, and enjoy the beautiful scenery in the garden.

The size of the Grand View Garden is small, and the length and width are around 300 meters. It takes about 2-3 hours to walk around the park. The setting in the garden is very elegant, with the style of the Jiangnan big courtyard, pavilions, bridges and small bridges. It is very pleasant to walk. Visitors can also take pictures in ancient costumes. It is very interesting. In many buildings in the park, there are wax figures of the characters of the red building, imitating their living scenes; there is also a cultural and art exhibition of the Wenlou, which can systematically understand the culture of the Dream of Red Mansions.

In addition to visiting the scenery and understanding the culture, the Grand View Garden also has many activities every year.
